Summary0028477: Predicted incoming damage sounded like "reaction damage"
DescriptionDuring the combat tutorial when hovering over enemy units to attack, I'd see previous estimating the damage I would do and the damage I'd receive. Comparison with other genres and context made it seem I would be taking that damage immediately after the attack and by that metric all possible attack options and combinations seemed unfavorable and things appeared hopeless. But of course the comparison was just one ap worth of attack from one robot to the enemy's whole turn.

I eventually figured it out after letting myself make dumb attacks that weren't as dumb as they seemed, but I wasted like an hour on this particular misunderstanding. I'm not 100% sure what would have prevented it but it feels like I should report that it happened because it was so impactful.

Thanks!

* The "Incoming Damage" now says "Incoming Damage Next Turn" to make it clear that this is not reaction damage.
