Summary0028353: Movement when under fire and in cover could benefit from a prompt
DescriptionIt's possible to misclick and move near an enemy unit instead of clicking on them.
It's also possible just to move when you wanted to left click.

In the specific circumstance that you're being shot at this turn AND you're in cover, movement doesn't just waste action points, it also removes the in-cover status, and so in this case I think a prompt (perhaps one that can be disabled in future) to check if you really did want to move that unit out of cover is called for. The fact the player has already spent an action point setting up the in-cover state suggests they want it to stay there for a while, after all.

If that still seems like too many prompts, perhaps we could get an undo for the last command, especially if it's a movement command? That sounds more complicated though.

I wonder about... something like making it disallowed to move within a certain radius of an enemy if they know your unit exists. There's already the leaping melee attacks that would take you to them if you're beyond that range.

I also could just increase the hitbox even more on units of that sort, but that would probably cause other issues.

Having some snapping to those units that is extra, but only if you have a unit that could attack them selected, might work.

I had been hoping that this issue of the ability to mis-click was gone, because it was a big problem a while back, and now it's bigger hitboxes by a lot for enemies. But... yeah. This I think needs some discussion on discord.

Let's see if this solves it:

* New accessibility option to reduce mis-clicks, and it also changes the default interaction behavior.
** Larger NPC Hitboxes During Targeting
** Only applies to human-scale units, not larger vehicles or mechs. When you have one of your units selected, the clickable region around every NPC unit scales up so that they are easier to target.
** The range of this is 1x to 3x, and it defaults to 1.5x. This feels notably better, I think, in terms of being able to quickly target enemies, or npcs to speak to.
** Let's see if this removes the need for an accidental-move-undo feature.

Thanks!
