I don't see an issue here... Hops from possible startion positions to AI Homeworld and each AI Homeworld distance between theirselves have some sorf of calculation I believe. In other words, AI Homeworlds are already set, you get the possibilities accordingly as far as I know. |

You can find this on X-maps as well, where you may have startinglocations in 2 or more different areas of the cross. Other times the startinglocations are the most central planets, seeds are random :) |

Neat! It wasn't intended, but I'd been considering doing something like that for a long time. The ai homeworlds don't get assigned until after you select your homeworlds, btw. |

You mean you didn't intend that, Chris? I thought you had gone in and made the tweak to sometimes have the starting points split between the rim and the center when you changed the max homeworld count from 8 to 16. It's really nice :)
But yea, no issue here, there are plenty of seeds that are entirely on the rim too. |

Maybe I did... I know I thought about it, but I didn't remember actually doing it. Sleep deprivation, you know. ;) |

I find it funny to play a "lost brethen" scenario, where I start at the center, any my friend starts at the outer rim. All we share is, scout reports for the first 5 hours of the game :P |
