Summary0015394: Marauders salvaging thier kills
DescriptionMarauder tooltip mentions that they attack to kill stuff and take the scrap they drop and retreat to deep space, so why not implement this? As an idea, marauders salvage whatever they kill with efficiency equal to 10% * intensity. This is used to create extra marauder ships.

Multiple possibilities on what these extra ships could be used for (and they could be additional ship types, beyond the 2 they currently use). The new ships could be used to make marauder waves larger, more frequent, and/or to create special waves created from salvage.

Adding this might make marauders have as much of an impact to the game as resistance fighters do, as those tend to build up and patrol human worlds where as marauders have no opportunity to build up.

This may be a separate setting (marauder salvaging) from the regular marauder setting, which could determine salvage efficiency and if they do special Fun things with it such as create new ship types or launch special waves.

I am uncertain if this will make marauders some sort of ridiculous plague that destroys half the galaxy or if it will have no significant effect, and wish that it would be some where in between :).
