Summary0007563: Drop upgrade stones and/or conscience shards upon death
DescriptionIt seems like some people want more of a penalty when you die. Perhaps you lose or drop a percentage of your upgrade or consciousness shards upon death? The percentage could be based on the current difficulty setting. Set to 0% for the easier difficulty settings perhaps.

* In the prior version, it was very confusing because "general loot drops" looked like green consciousness shards when in fact they were just a general loot drop. This was compounded by the fact that enemies were dropping empty loot drops when they should not have been,
** First of all, the graphics have been made more clear so that general loot drops no longer look anything like consciousness shards -- they now look like a bag of stuff instead.
** Secondly, fixed the bug that was causing those useless drops to happen in the first place.

Erm sorry, I think you might have confused this suggestion with something else. This was actually meant to be an idea for what would happen when a player dies.

Well you could have it so that they drop to the ground, forcing you to come back and fight your ghost to recover them. Or you could also just have it so that they are just permanently lost. Or maybe both, depending on the difficulty setting?

If it happened during a mission and it was using the drop method, I suppose you could just have them drop outside the mission area (where your 'corpse' gets teleported to)
