Summary0003199: Decoy drones' stats don't match their description
Description(Note that I'm playing with low ship caps, so the stats given are on that setting.)

Decoy drones are described as a "Tough, high-health vessel with no significant guns." They have 200,000 health, no armor, and the ultra-light hull type.

All three of the MkI basic triangle ships have at least 300,000 health and 600 armor. In fact, the only military ship I can build that has less health is the MkI Raider at 105,000 health, and it has 600 armor!

When you consider that it's common to unlock MkII ships before capturing a single planet, their stats look even worse.

Add in the cap of 9 ships (less even than the 2,520,000 health MkI Shield Bearer's 11), and these "tough, high-health" ships are about as protective as their weight in tissue paper. The only way they'll be useful at all is if they intercept a massive-damage attack, like a Zenith Bombardment Ship or an Artillery Golem. And I'm not holding my breath for that, given that they'll be dead within two seconds of the start of any battle.

I completely ignore decoy fabs for this reason.
