Summary0004687: Challenge rooms
DescriptionIt would be great to have battles with major bosses take place in several rooms, with the boss retreating from one to the next once a condition is met. To keep it interesting, there could be several different room styles with different challenges. A lieutenant would pick two random rooms before a final showdown, an overlord would pick four.

Some ideas:
 -(stealing from Professor Paul1290 - issue 4645) Water/Lava filling rooms that you need to escape. A horizontal room with platforms placed progressively higher to avoid the (deadly substance). The boss could be at the far end of the room, retreats after taking 10% damage or you reaching the last platform.

 - Climbing boxes/platforms while the boss rains fire on you. A horizontal room, but with floors getting destroyed by the boss' attacks. Boss retreats when you reach the top.

 - Room where the boss attacks and teleports from platform to platform until you reduce his health by 10% or destroy the teleport platforms.
 
- Simple room with the boss behind a stack of crates. The boss spawns 20 standard enemies and retreats after you cross half the room or hit him with an attack.
