Oh wow, that sucks. I suppose you could die to spawn into a settlement in order to have your npcs destroy them. |

That doesn't look like too many, actually, it's just that old worlds being upgraded get hit harder since you were already out there in the middle of it all. There are going to be some cases where you have to die (your new character starts in the last visited settlement) and then strategically blast the a pylon or two. I will put in a change to make sure that a settlement you've actually visited before can't be blocked, though. |

For 0.520: * Settlements that you've actually previously visited can no longer be blocked by vortex pylons. This only applies to old worlds as in new ones you simply can't enter them to begin with until the pylon is out of the way. That should let you back into your settlement. If you don't have 200 red shards it may still be stuck-until-you-can-find-some, dunno. Let me know if that happens. |
