Description | At the moment if you fire a spell while in mid-air and in the opposite direction your character's facing, the animation does not flip to match. The result is that a directional spell like fireball looks like it's erupting from the player character's back. | ||||

There needs to be some work done on where the spell comes from, so hopefully that will help, but, other than that, the art is pretty much set as is for now. |

What about briefly flipping the firing animation in the direction of fire? |

Yeah, we'll be fixing where the origin point of spells comes from. We've got a couple tickets open for that. That should fix what you are describing. |
