Description | I find two warp scrolls are sometimes not enough for when you choose to teleport back into a region such as one with a commodity tower to finish it, but then you reach the top of some ten levels and it takes a while to get back down (same with venturing deep into normal buildings) unless you use the last scroll to teleport to the lobby room, then of course you'd have to walk all the way to the first map. Could there be a free method of going back home when you reach the top or somewhere towards the end of a building to allow the player to use their last scroll to teleport to the room to get back home (maybe even Diablo-style where the portal remains persistent for two-way travel until another one is summoned)? | ||||

If you press . to get the region map, you can select the outside and select the first chunk to teleport there. Also works the other way around, which means you can instantly teleport into and out of a nine-level-deep cave. |

I'll leave this open as a suggestion, but, are you aware that you can make additional teleport scrolls? |

Toll: ...oh, I wasn't aware of that--I was only using the dungeon map view. But with that in mind still, it wouldn't be nice if you discovered you ran out of scrolls in the middle of no-mans-land without any way of returning home, save for suicide. tigersfan: yes, but not to sound short-minded it would be best if traveling was as streamlined as possible instead of having to navigate menus and worrying about how many scrolls I carry and need. I only travel into town to rush straight to the adviser stone to heal and regain the two scrolls and venture back out, much like Diablo where you'd just sell off your stuff and go back into combat. Unless you're managing the settlement, or crafting stuff. |

Every time I hit town I make sure I have at least 20 warp scrolls. You get 10 from scroll-crafting gem dust and it's so worth it. Saves hours of backtracking once you get into deep caverns and caves, and allows you to set up temp bases at neutral Illari stones so you can continue to gather and explore. I think a direct to town teleport would take away from the theme of the game. It IS a dangerous world out there, you should be prepared when you venture out. There was a time I found myself 3 levels down in a cavern when I realized I just used my last warp scroll. Long walk back. Barely survived. Learned a lesson. |

Yep, you can already teleport directly from the region entrance to anywhere in the whole region (including inside buildings or caves), so two scrolls are enough if you just leave town, go into the region, use one scroll to get where you last were, play, use one scroll to get back to the region entrance, and go to town. You only ever need more than two scrolls if you plan on jumping around inside the region more than once. And definitely, don't want to destroy the sense of scale here. |
