Summary | 0004130: Make it easier to understand if there are unexplored locations behind a door
Description | I was thinking of ways to reduce the need to glance at the dungeon map. One thing that might help is to show whether the graph behind a door has been fully explored yet. That along with the dark/light and 'green' indicators would allow me to quickly navigate to unexplored regions of a building w/o relying on the dungeon map. I don't think this is needed for underground caverns. That area feels more like thoughtful exploration to me (perhaps because they are so much more expansive).

I just wanted to add to this, mainly because I support this but with some alterations. I think that due to the size of the exploration, even when underground, the dungeon map on the bottom right needs to be colored if you have explored that zone. Also, every door that you open or close should be rendered dirty, perhaps with a dusty palm print. |
