| Description | Personally I'm a fan of a staggered zoom instead of a flowing zoom. This allows you to instantly move to the newly-selected zoom level instead of (semi-slowly) zooming in and out. This is especially annoying to me in battles where I select a damaged ship in close zoom and zoom out to send it to a safe location. Due to the current zoom, however, it takes a while to reach the furthest zoom, which puts the ship in additional jeopardy. | ||||

In the next version, the new speed slider will let you increase it enough that it's instant -- so you'll be able to get what you want with that. The new default zoom speed will better suit folks anyway, though, but you may want to crank it up even more if you want stepwise. |
