Summary | 0004108: Graphical stutter loading underground rooms
Description | I don't notice this above ground or in most buildings, but when I'm underground the game stutters for a second or two after I press confirm to load another room. This appears to be fairly consistent, and occurs whether or not I've previously visited the room. I don't recall this occurring until one of the more recent beta versions of the game. This effect, while slightly disorienting, has another side effect. Not every time, but occasionally, it will cause the mini-map for the region you're traveling into to pop up with no fog of war applied. This gives you a quick peek into the new room to see where doors, items, etc. are located without having to explore the room to find them. While convenient, I don't think this is intended :)

The stutter is the game generating the new room. The other part Ill include with the other report. |

As I mentioned though, the stutter appears even when I'm loading a room I've been in before. Is that expected? Sorry about missing the dupes on these tickets, I really did try to search for existing issues! |
