Yes, this is working as expected. The minimaps are basically in shards -- if you imagine a paper map that has been torn up. The solid parts of the map are being drawn as transparent in the game so that you can easily see past them, but if it were a paper map those would be black dark areas that are all connected. Anyway, whenever you step into a piece of the map that is not yet revealed, that piece gets slotted back in -- whatever its size might be, spanning walls and the ground and whatever else. |
