DescriptionTachyon Drones have a tachyon-range of 1500, making them more or less wormhole-guardians, or to decloak if you know exactly where the enemy is. It's definitely nothing you sweep a planet with, if you have any other option.

Decloakers have a tachyon-range of 20.000, making them better at sweeping planets. However, if you have several planets with cloaked enemy ships, it's still extremely tedious work.

Thus, the Spirecraft come to the rescue! All of the marks of this Spirecraft would do planetary-wide decloaking, but with a caveat. Mk. I would decloak all ships once per minute or some such, Mk. III would decloak them every 35 seconds, and Mk. V would just be a planet-wide decloaker a'la the Military Command Station. They would have limited armament; basically, it would be able to take care of some cloaked remnants of CPAs that get stuck on neutral planets, but it's nothing you'd send in alone against a bigger fleet.

Not sure it should be cloaked at all, really, and permacloaked would, I think, make it a tad too much.

And if it was a question as in "what would happen to permacloaked ships", well... not sure the AI have any, really. And if they do, they shouldn't be revealed anyway.

that gives me kinda neat idea. ;D capturable of the cloaking star ship :D
gives super perma cloaking to nearby ships :D, and i wonder, would perma cloaking to 100 ships :D

For actual cloaker-clearing effectiveness, I'd rather see a mobile counter-spy. Granted, give it a pretty long reload time (shorten reload time by mark, so mk4 and mk5 are actually viable in combat or something), but it would be good for clearing annoying residual cloakers off a planet without requiring microing in a force to deal with them.
