Minor? It annoys the dickens out of me! Might have something to do with me testing a lot of things that involve dying a lot. Chris knows about this one, just gotta store the "have already done xyz" stuff in a more permanent place. |
Mmm youre right, ill markup the severity! |
Yeah, fixed now -- amazing this wasn't reported faster. Folks are really doing a good job of not dying! Naglas did report it in a fashion, but I think he and I both thought it was a bit of a different bug than it turned out to be. |
yeah, I started a new game to test a few things, and ended up dieing a tad more than I expected :p |
Yeah, the new miniboss in particular is good for that. :) |
About that.... |
Yeah, I'm going to be region-level gating the harder minibosses. Some are meant to be harder than others, and that one definitely is. Depending on the room structure, he can be a little harder to bloody harder. ;) |

Well, I wasn't actually testing this particular bug, and I didn't have any time to keep playing after discovering the other ones (and even if I had, I couldn't leave my settlement anyway to die again). I found the "you have to talk to the Adviser Stone that doesn't exist after you died to leave the settlement" one, which turned out to be just part of this one, completely accidentally while testing to see what would happen if your settlement ran out of empty space to place gravestones if you killed enough characters. Short answer: Hilarity ensues. Sadly, whenever I do anything that justifies me saying "hilarity ensues", that seems to end up fairly high up on the priority list of things to fix or disable. Heh. |
Heh, yeah -- I didn't mean it as a criticism. The inability to play further definitely masked it in your case. |
