Summary | 0003794: AI types, difficulty 9+ & dooms
Description | i find that waves in first 10 minutes 2 quick for you to have reasonable size fleet up to defend against mainly core problem star ships, ship count. may i suggest that AI 9+ are re balanced with 20AIP in first 10 minutes to basically not destroy everything. something like ether change size of first few waves, or change wave frequency with first 10-20 minute waves change first few minute wave about 5-10 minutes to 15-20 minute waves. because these most having trouble with and game getting unplayable with 9+ with certain AI types mainly core because ammount of scaled ships they get about 500 Mrk 1 equivalent. back in 3.0 days they only got 7 at max 30 ships per first wave. this roughly made them about 100 ships in first wave. this might be problem with 9+ with the minor faction spire civilians that cause AIP in first minute. as make wave 2x larger :P.

If you're playing with the ultra-hard AI types and difficulty 9 or 10, expect to lose. Difficulty 9 in general is meant for less than 0.1% of the gaming population to have any chance at it. |
