Gravity effects are a hard counter to melee ships. Making them immune to gravity would be make dealing with spire blade spawners in AI hands even more difficult. |

He might be talking about human variant of blade spawn-er. where they blade them self are immune, this might cause some confusion yeah. |

Clarification: I was talking about gravity immunity to the Spawned blades themselves |

Hmm, I think the gravity effect should be a nice counter towards the blades. After all it is "just a simple blade", and sometimes its nice to be able to counter stuff :) |

It is a counter all right...one that I believe is too hard. Playing on a high difficulty, when I spawn with Blade Spawners, and the AI uses Gravity Drains, is extremely difficult when I get almost zero utility from my bonus ship type. Make gravity drains immune to blades is fine so they still exert influence over the rest of the human fleet, but make the blades immune to gravity effects, otherwise in this matchup the human bonus ship type is nullified.
Edit: Its the blades that the blade spawner creates that I want made immune to gravity effects, if this needed clarification. The Spawner should not be immune.
