Description | For kicks I blobbed an Astro train to deal a few percent damage. Although I didn't have a huge number of ships, I had a good 3-4 caps worth of various types/marks. I managed to cause the train some pathing issues when my ships surrounded it. After about 3-4 seconds looking a little confused, it stopped moving. Forever. Even if I left it alone. The attached save is the first time it happened. I repeated it later and backed off to confirm it wouldn't move again. I then had to focused the train down because it was annoying to have a Dark Matter spewing train stuck in my system indefinitely. | ||||

* Fixed a bug that would cause ships to sometimes ignore their wormhole orders to instead stay and fight when they have a target. This was most noticeable with astro trains since they are never supposed to stop to fight, but it actually was affecting all AI ships since sometime prior to 5.0 most likely. Possibly as far back as 4.0. This had serious implications to the AI's ability to effectively retreat; the AI should be a lot more swift-footed now, while still getting in pot-shots when it decides to leave. ** Additionally, a potential desync was discovered where players that were using the F3 debug menu and hovering over ships might cause a desync in multiplayer. Fixed that. |
