Summary | 0003625: grid-esque style hotkeys?
Description | In sc2, theres a control scheme labeled 'grid', which is awesome. Basically, any command in the bottom right has a 'slot', the top right one is ALWAYS q. ALWAYS, after selecting a barrax or warpgate, select q to create a marine or zealot respectively. the 'supply' item is always in the 'e' slot - both pylons and supply depots. ect. the unit command in the bottom left is always 'z', press 'z' to siege tanks, press 'z' to stim, etc. They are always in the bottom left area, so you press the 'z' key because it corresponds to that area on the menu. To apply this to aiwar, I was thinking a system of keys that would work with creating units from a dock/starshipthing/merc - z/x/c/v/blah are the mk1 scout/fighter/bomber/frigate/specialunit etcetc. a/s/d/f/g are mk2 of the same, etc. From there, going to the turrets - z would select a basic turret mk1, etcetc. This would apply onwards until you run out of keyboard space or something..
