Description | I have found the Military command station's Translocation effect to be particularly annoying, at least if I dont want it there. I believe an alternate payload, A paralysis effect, would be similarly useful, but would assist with defense, rather than sabotaging it in certain cases, especially if it is important to NOT have enemy units scattered around the planet, but still preventing them from attacking the Command center and similar. | ||||

i fully disagree. my only complaint about the military command station is that it uses standard targeting logic of locking on targets rather than full dispersal. the teleporting effect is wonderful to generate a delay in death of the command station the main problem is that with its long range if it doesn't target a new ship with every shot a blob will ALWAYS kill it. i also will mention that despite patch notes to the contrary i still have 20+ shots not being accelerated to impact on teleported foes causing a lot of spare shots and i'm sure no small amount of processing lag from orphaned ammunition in transit. i believe this is causee because it checks range/legal target upon teleport and if still in range after teleport leaves the shot in transit. not sure if this is intended or not but causes alot of wasted damage from military command station fire when this should be killing and enhancing defense. as is military command stations are virtually unusable because of the shot interactions and bad targeting |
