Tractor turrets pretty much do this already, adding a turret that does what the Tractor turret does plus bigger range and (possibly, based on how you said paralyze) can deactivate enemy weapons would just be overpowered unless I am understanding this wrong, perhaps you should write a larger description.

By paralyze I mean the same way a zenith Paralyze works. I have to agree that it could be rather powerful, but considering all sniper's rather low dps, these turrets would similarly have rather low paralysis duration, perhaps 1-2 seconds per shot, and each shot goes off each 6 seconds, like a sniper turret. |

I dislike the sniper range, it might make it severely over powered.
Basic turret range or even Zenith Paralyzer range would probably suffice. |

I personally think spider turrets would be considered quite a bit more OP, considered they kill engines, and also have sniper range, which is mostly permanent, while these turrets have a temporary effect. the additional disabling of attacks makes them an alternate choice. However, I think i would really had needed to wait for some comments on 0003494 first, before I suggested this. |
