Description | The basic idea of this warhead is to disable the AI reinforcement/wave network for a time, depending on the marks. A mark I warhead might disable the next reinforcement and wave (for both AI, so technically two reinforcements/waves) for the planet it is detonated on, while a mark III warhead would disable it for up to five or ten. This wouldn't make the reinforcements/waves disappear completely, but rather treat the affected planet as non-existing. The basic idea of this warhead is against isolated planets with no other source of reinforcements, which would allow you to (somewhat) slowly whittle it down. Not sure where on the scale of AI progress, but around the same as an EMP (which would be 2/4/6). |
