Summary0003516: Existing buildings to re-wire (F7 work).
DescriptionPlease now use version 1358 in SVN to do the updates. That's the very latest compiled version.

Also please see the general notes in 0003511 about the new batches of F7 work. This is the list of objects which were already in the correct perspective and so which now need to get their F7 sizes set properly:

RULES FOR OBJECT F7 WORK:

- Like with the buildings, we want these to have a pink outline that frames them somewhat completely. HOWEVER, here the bounds actually are important for collision reasons. Right now if you walk past these objects you won't run into them at all, but within a few weeks I will have added the seize object spell (see #3508 if you're curious), and that's a major mechanic for the game that involves these very objects you're working on. Basically thrusting them forward from the background to get in the way of enemies (and yourself).

So the pink outline is important, and basically should protrude into empty space as little as possible.

- In terms of the with-world green lines on the sides of these objects, you'll want to do something very small, or nothing at all, depending on the type of object. Things like trash bags you would see piled together, so no green border at all. Things like a vent pipe you would not, so a small green border would be okay. With everything, it's just a judgement call -- the green border just determines how tightly the map generator will seed these objects next to other objects. Nothing should have a very big green outline (more than 10-20 pixels) in general. The exception being trees and bushes in some cases, but we're not really talking about those here, just objects.

Dang. There was a bug with some of the new buildings. Now you'll need to use version 1358 in SVN. If any of the buildings look at all cut off on their tops, or anything like that, that's a code bug -- just report it to me, and move on to other buildings. I think I got that all fixed up now, though.
