Summary | 0003502: Even with Spirecraft on Easy, Spirecraft Shield Bearers are not repairable.
Description | With the Spirecraft set on easy all other Spirecraft are repairable except for Shield Bearers. This makes them pretty much into a one-use ship, as after a single battle they are down to 30-20% shield and provide little coverage. At current, when Spirecraft are on easy, Shield Bearers are among the least optimal choices, possibly even a bad choice. Removing the Repair immunity or adding an inherent regen would fix this.

Yep, the core design of these and martyrs is that they are limited-use. The repairable thing doesn't change for them, unlike all other spirecraft. |

Alright then. |

fyi my thoughts is their main use is actually for a gate breach because they provide coverage vs that intial volley or 4 allowing you to cracck the defense with your opening volleys and pry an opening. thinking of them in this function they shouldnt be surviving anyway. though yes as a extra shield they would be nice but unrepairable means that is limited use since bombers eat shields of any kind. |
