Description | Map filters (for example, to find core fabricators) show their detected objects despite those objects being obscured by planetary cloakers. This undermines some of the strategic impact of the stealth master AI, plus it's just kind of cheesy and hard to avoid using accidentally. Stick the map filter to "core fabricators" in the attached save to see an example. | ||||

On a related note, it appears that structures on worlds with planetary cloakers are also visible while waiting for others to load into an MP game. |

Good catch! Mostly the planetary cloaker is for military cloaking, so this is fairly minor to me, but definitely good to have on the list. :) |
