| Description | Liquid Metal can change its apperance at will, it's slightly narratively weird for it to have to spend a bunch of gallium to change its apperance to get marked defective off its status bar, turning to goo should be able to do that anyway (and it's innately alarming anyway so the status is just visual clutter) | ||||

I believe it's a unit's serial number / ID that gets marked defective, and these are more difficult to change than the outward appearance. |

I actually already have a note for later that I want it to be able to rewrite its serial number every time it goes to goo. So while Fluffy is absolutely right, I think that when you're completely erasing your body, rewriting serial numbers are also easy to rewrite even if they are digital. I just haven't done it yet, but there's an older mantis about it with a reminder to myself. Will do in December. |
