Description | The obvious point would be to make the Devourer immune to implosion shots. I also believe it could use a health increase. | ||||

Implosion shots will be really powerful at first (on a full HP target), but will quickly lose their power once HP starts going down, so I don't think that is such an issue. However, I do think an HP increase is in order. You are not the first to mention that the AI is managing to kill the devourer too frequently. |

Implosion arty works on the remaining health so its effect decreases exponentially. It can't feasibly deal the finishing blow. |

Implosion Artillery can't [i]finish[/i] the job easily, but as the devo golem can't fire on guardians, the guardians are quite capable of burning that last 15-20% (I've seen devos come through with 60% and less HP on maps where the AI doesn't have implosion units) |

* The devourer golem is now completely invincible -- it was never meant to be killable in the first place, but recent changes to the game made that so that it was possible post-5.0. Like the dyson sphere, the devourer is more intersting when it is indestructible. |

As much as I'll miss the "kill the devourer" achievement, I fully support that change. |
