Summary | 0002617: Make SC Archives Nuke immune?
Description | Currently nuking a planet next to an AI homeworld with an archive on it is - aip wise - more expensive than killing the AI. Taking into account that one - normally - only nukes if one can't get through otherwise, an additional 80 AIP are a bit too much I think. In addition, I think the archives could collect 2K/s, currently they need 2h 50min to finish after taking the planet, which will normally be after you killed the first AI. In most games you are finished long before.

I think the Spire Archives should remain nukeable, because the knowledge bonus you receive from them can be considered a bonus for taking the AI world without having to resort to tactical weaponry |
|
I wuld be ok with them only working in supply - so nuking the planet disables it. I just don't want to take that additional AIP hit. |
