Summary0002456: AI Eye doesn't die when all non-wormhole guard posts killed
DescriptionI've attached a game save where in Murdoch, all the non-wormhole guard posts have been destroyed, but the AI Eye is still alive. Perhaps I don't understand the rules exactly? Several other AI Eyes exploded properly in this game, but this one and one earlier in the game stubbornly refuse to die except through brute force methods..

Just loaded up the save and detonated a tachyon warhead on Murdoch. There is a stealth guard post there. That is probably what is stopping the AI eye from self destructing.

What you're seeing actually wasn't a bug, but it was confusing. I've added the following:

* There is now a "Guard Posts Keeping This Alive" count on AI eyes, to prevent confusion about what they are getting protection from, or if they should have died. In particular, sometimes if there is a cloaked guard post still at the planet, the player might not realize without seeing this.

So, in other words, there's a cloaked guard post on Murdoch. Thanks!

Aha! I had no idea such a cloaked guard post even existed. Thanks for the clarification :)
