I can't duplicate this. There are times when it won't refund me (or drop the mark levels) because I am not switching between types that have different science scaling. But when I do switch between types, it actually refunds me and says so on the log. I thought I had a case of this in one save, and I am just not sure if I was counting wrong, though. I wasn't looking closely enough. When I reloaded the save and tried again, I found that the math always added up when I did it that way. So, either this happens only sometimes, and I really did see it happen once, or it is something that doesn't happen but if the numbers are small enough it looks misleading. If anyone has a repro case, that would be great. |
