| Description | When I play multiplayer, we do a bunch of players controlling a single faction. In general, each player has their own Flagship, while I run overall strategy. In tonight's session, I saw a number of newer players really confused when their Flagships got crippled. In many cases it wasn't obvious to them why their ships weren't loading, and so they'd sit and wait until I pointed out to them that the flagship was crippled. The most obvious mechanism would be to queue a log message on the right hand side of the screen, but I suspect true novices won't notice there. Is there some way people can think of to give good feedback for people who are really really new to the game? I suspect a lot of novices struggle with this. | ||||

Stick a wrench icon over crippled flagships and after the part where the mouse over says its crippled just put something like (Needs Repairs!) |

The fact that a flagship is crippled is already represented with an icon over the flagship, and I believe the tooltip already indicates that a flagship is crippled. This clearly isn't enough. |

Perhaps a voice line for "The flagship is crippled" could be played or something? |
