Summary0022993: AI Minefield Threat Annoying On Captured Planets
DescriptionOften after I conquer an AI planet and build my command center there, I find there is some lingering enemy threat strength on the planet. 9 times out of 10 it's an AI minefield.

When I encounter this situation, I have a choice:
1) Bring my support fleet to this planet and/or build a sentry frigate, and spend a few minutes flying around the system to make sure they are all destroyed
-or-
2) Train my brain to ignore the small threat number on that planet

Possible solution:
Building a command center briefly reveals all cloaked objects on the planet. Also, stationary cloaked objects, after being revealed once, should become permanently revealed. Since minefields are stationary, they'll be permanently revealed, allowing any ships in pursuit mode thereafter to destroy them all.

Minefields now decloak if their controller doesn't also own the planet

If this means players can't place mines on enemy planets (with the minelayer battle station) this is disappointing

I don't agree that this observation is a problem -- that the AI has some mines you can still run into (or minor factions for that matter), this is totally realistic -- they are still finding active landmines in some parts of the world

It's only for AI mines. I don't really mind a little QoL to simplify people's lives a bit.
