DescriptionThe idea behind the kite is simple. Have a fast ship with low health and shielding, moderate attack and extremely good range along the lines of 15000. The defining factor of the kite however would be a very large minimum range of 14000. This would force the kite to maintain a range of at least 14000 between itself and its target and cause it to effectively kite any target that cant out range or out run it, as its name implies. Could also have a minimum hit chance of 10% because its always attacking from long range and possibly let the AI leave there guard post to pursue.

These ships would not be meant to fly in the fleet. There primary roll that I can think of would be to harass the AI and effectively kite, assuming they don't go for something that leads them threw a clump of AI ships. Because they are ment for killing mobile ships, they would be fairly ineffective against turrets or anything immobile.

Best way to kill these, if you cant catch them or out range them, would be to flank them. I can only imagine the nightmare these would bring in the hands of the AI against a player that likes there ships in a blob. I hope that nightmare can become a reality.
