Summary0021118: Sentinel getting army from air
DescriptionI see like Sentinel AIs often attacks me without notification and i cant be ready for it. I dont know, how is he getting these free armyes without notification. May be he is making attack against other AI and then retreat.
Now about civil war. Its more looks like 2x1 war. They making one big or a small attack against one AI planet, and then attacks me. Two AI can attack ever one planet in rotation, example with notification on the screen.

I dont afraid million AI units, I cant undestant how is he getting this free army? from what galaxy side? where will he attack? Or is Sentinel allow attack without notification?

Guessing it's threat from alerted planets leaving then trying to find a suitable target. There are no notifications for this.

This is happening a lot more recently since the AI flat out has more stuff on their planets.

I see a reasonably sized AI force attacking one of your planets. Presumably this is a Threat force. You'd need to give a save from before the attack in order to let me see what's happening. Just seeing the attack doesn't let me figure out what happened before.

In the past few months a lot of effort was put into making the AI actually willing to attack you. The AI is now much more aggressive and scarier than it used to be.

Ai like always agressive and big, nothing other. But after towers nerf ever, Sentinel still not so dangerous with his waves. Warden, seems more powerfull, than before.
"Presumably this is a Threat force", and why does Sentinel attacks me, if threat is Hunter.

That was hard, after screen bug win million notifications, make a replay .Look at Duergar in 2h 33m, what a free army from air? And look on Pandora, part of army its Sentinel with big army too. These two planets(like minimum) will attack me, but not always, its random. One time i load replay AI is getting free army and attackes me, one time he gettes nothing and just stay.

If i attack with Botnet golem army "OneBraker" planet. AI will make immediately randomly counter attack one of my planets(Saif or Koenig)+defence "OneBraker" planet. Why does it do Sentinel? Why is he making attack and defence with mk4 ships on 173 AIP?

I loaded this save game. The AI attacked Koenig with a strong enough force that it felt it had a chance to take that planet.

I don't understand why this would be a problem

Is it okay, that threat fleet is Sentinel? And mk 4 ships?

Yes. AI units can be normal threat, which means they're annoyed and looking for a fight, waiting for a planet to attack, and show up as Sentinel. If you've annoyed a Mark 4 planet and some ships run away, they'll become threat.

If threat waits long enough with nothing to do, *then* it joins the Hunter Fleet, which is a more intelligent and coordinated form of threat.

What if im not annoying enemy planet? i killed all enemy forces on this planet. And after 5-10 min, AI sentinel makes attacks without notification.
Still a lot of unpredictable attacks without notification from sentinel.
