Summary0020789: Visual feedback for noncombatant movement on galaxy map
DescriptionOne immediate thing I noticed: There's no visual feedback for scout movement on the galaxy map. Military ships get pale blue lines for where they will move, but scouts get nothing.
Noticed last night that this actually seems to generalize to any non-military ships. Or, at least, I was moving around things that weren't military ships and observing the same thing. (colony ships and engineers, I think?)

Just wanted to chime in here and say I'm experiencing this as well, and for me this feels bad enough to be a "not going to play anymore until this is fixed" sort of bug. I started asking about it on Discord before finding this bugtracker post so I'll copy my notes here:

my scouts show no pathing of any kind on the galaxy map
if I select some scouts and go to galaxy map, hover over various planets, nothing happens -- no pathing lights up on the map -- there's literally zero indication of any path/route no matter where you hover the mouse, whether it's in explored or unexplored territory
if I select my military fleet on the other hand, I do get some pathing... the yellow lines between planets in explored territory turn a light blue color to indicate the route the fleet will take if I right-click on whatever I'm hovering over
outside of explored territory, though, there's nothing ... the lines remain grey
then once you right click on something to set a waypoint... there's no visual feedback that the command was received -- just an audio noise
and if you're holding down shift and right clicking multiple planets to set a series of waypoints... no visual feedback then either to show the path you've selected so far... everything just stays grey

Added an annotated screenshot to better show what's (not) happening here. Screenshot doesn't show mouse cursor but I'm hovering over planet Istvan (circled in red) with a group of scouts selected in my home system. If I right-click on Istvan my scouts will go there, but at no point is there any visual indication of what route/path/waypoints the scouts will take, either before *or* after right-clicking to move them.
