Summary0019095: Tractor beams don't lerp
DescriptionIf your ships get caught by a tractor turret with (say) 5 or 6 tractor entities, the beams always come out of the very middle of the squad. Could we lerp the beams so that it looks like each tractor turret entity is seperate? It looks weird as is.

I'm going to log this as a very low-priority considering status, because frankly I'm kind of out of time/funds for extra visual polish bits of this sort. If we wind up with a windfall again for this sort of thing, then that would be great. I'm also a bit worried about what the load in general would do on this.

Yeah, this is not something even remotely important. If you really cared, I'd say "tweak the visuals so that the center tractor looks big, and all the other components are feeding energy to it", since that would line the squad visuals up with the gameplay. But otherwise, leave it for later.

Ship to Ship Lines now lerp between randomly chosen members of the Source and Destination squads, not always from a specific member of a squad.
