| Description | When using Custom Search (Narrow) with the game paused, the game will sometimes unpause as text is entered into the text box. I have not rebound any of the Pause keys, so both P and Pause (I use the latter) pause the game. From what I can tell, this does not affect Custom Search (Broad), but it's possible that I just didn't encounter it. I haven't tried to do a thorough testing (I stopped playing with the system when I encountered the bug with "Orbital"), but if I get some time to test I'll put more information here. Steps to reproduce: 1. Enter the Galaxy Map view 2. Pause the game 3. Select "Custom Search (Narrow)" from the Display drop-down. 4. Type in "Orbital." The game will unpause. 5. Frantically try to get out of the selection so you can re-pause the game. | ||||

After further consideration / testing, the problem is that "P" is being interpreted by the game as both an "unpause" event trigger and a "insert letter in textbox" event trigger. This defect applies to *both* "Custom Search (Broad)" and "Custom Search (Narrow)", but no other text fields (e.g., Save Game). The problem with "Orbital" above arose due to my usage of the Dvorak layout, which remaps the "P" key to "L", causing the defect to manifest when finishing typing "orbitaL".
