Summary0008617: Dont allow Urban Sniper Balloons in JtP missions
DescriptionSpecifically because their attack is pretty much undodgeable in this mission type. The very instant they appear on screen, they fire that lightning-fast shot at you, and.... that's it. You lose. There's nothing you can do. The ONLY way I've found to get past these is to get lucky and have one spawn behind a wall. If it spawns just in the air and not behind anything, there's nothing you can do except just hope it somehow misses, or appears on screen at just the right angle so your forward running causes it's shot to pass over you. There's no time to react to that particular attack; not to mention that JtP missions in the Abandoned Town area type tend to be filled with unusual amounts of projectiles anyway (crawlers, Gazebos, Predators, Crashed Speeders), which makes it even less likely that you can avoid that particular attack. Those other enemies are fine, albeit brutal, but this one in particular is very ill-suited to this type of mission.

Not a particularly important issue whatsoever, but I thought I should mention it.

If I use a stealth enchant, I can see them before they see me.

Yeah, I know, that one seriously feels like cheating to me though; JtP missions pretty much become impossible to lose with a cloak enchant; frankly, it's effect just should be turned off for those. So for the purposes of bringing up this particular issue, I ignored it.

Not to mention, the player might not always have one of those available for use at the time.

I actually think lots enemies are difficult in JtP missions, including Urban Sniper Balloons - for example, rhinos and bulls can run in from off-screen, giving you maybe a second to react. That is, unless you use a Stealth Enchant.

Getting rid of Urban Sniper Balloons would help, but there'd still be a lot of annoying JtP enemies left. On the other hand, getting rid of all of these annoying enemies seems like it'd leave JtP missions feeling very limited, with only a couple different monster types in them.

I've made a suggestion that players be given an intrinsic stealth bonus for these missions, which I made 'related' to this suggestion; I'd appreciate it if you gave your feedback on it.

Thanks!

* Clockwork Probes and Urban Sniper Balloons are now banned from journey to perfection missions, as those made those sorts of missions really too hard.

* Journey To Perfection Missions no longer allow stealth enchants while you are playing them, as that was exploitative as well.
