Summary | 0027522: Sub entities created by destroyers and wards count against the ship limit of FRS
Description | As the summary says, entities spawned by destroyers and wards seem to count as shiplines for FRS purposes. This creates unintuitive behaviors where the number of ships added to the fleet don't match the number of ships the FRS claims it can support. It also creates the unintuitive behavior that your FRS will show green before a fight but get turned off in the middle of it because an entity was spawned that put you over the ship limit. No entity that spawns new entities seem to affect the FRS in the same way so its inconsistent.

I think at the very least, there should be some mention in the UI that this is the case for destroyers. Right now they explicitly state that they're an elite line and so don't count against the FRS cap, which is very misleading when their sub-line does, which is part of their own power budget, and normal sub-lines don't count. |

Considering how wards also sometimes have wards, there's honestly no good way for something that looks like one ship line to be communicated to the player as 'actually its 2-4'. I think of them the same way as drones, and those don't count because again it would be obnoxious if they did. |
